Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Speaking yesterday, September 20, at the closing ceremony of Welfare Organization’s Quranic festival, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi referred to verse 82 of Surah Isra “We send down (stage by stage) in the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss”, and said those who can not see the truth will only face losses.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi, who also heads the Center for Coordination, Development and Promotion of Quranic Activities (CCDPQA), appreciated the efforts for holding the Welfare Organization’s Quranic festival and called for a new institution for organizing Quranic activities for the physically impaired of the Islamic world.
He said that the first Quran competition for the physically impaired of the Islamic world will be soon held in Iran. It will be organized by the Welfare Organization in cooperation with the Culture Ministry and a number of other organizations.
Mr. Mohammadi also noted that the CCDPQA has taken various steps to promote Quranic activities for the physically impaired, including publication of a few thousand copies of the holy Quran in Braille for the country’s visually impaired.
